We are a grassroots group of volunteers in Carteret County, North Carolina, dedicated to protecting our coastal environment since 1979.
Mission Statement:
We are a non-profit, all-volunteer, member-supported organization, working to preserve the environment and quality of life in Carteret County and coastal North Carolina. We have been working for the environment for over 25 years, after first forming to study and then oppose a propane storage facility on Radio Island.
